Create the training partnership you
and your horse deserve

I have a particular passion for Thoroughbreds and gained a great deal of experience in their retraining and rehabilitation during my two years spent in Kenya where I worked with riders from novice to advanced level and focused on the rehabilitation and retraining of ex race horses for eventing, dressage and safari work. It is my continued aim to pass on the knowledge I have gained over the years to all open minded riders for good of the horse.

My name is Maxine Kemp, I'm a classical riding trainer and coach based in Suffolk and Essex. My approach to training centres around building the essential partnership between you and your horse via an understanding of the biomechanics and spirit of both, and how we might bring those elements together in balance and harmony.
In addition to traditional dressage training, I specialise in straightness training, body awareness work for horse and rider including in-hand work, rehabilitation Equine Myofascial release Sports massage and Reiki. I am also an accredited Life Coach and can work with you on confidence building, transcending fear, goal setting and relationship building.

The past 40 years of my life have been spent learning from many wonderful and knowledgeable trainers both on and off the horse, developing my own riding and training skills together with a unique approach and ability to simplify and impart this knowledge to others.

I now partner you on your journey to becoming the best rider you can be.
